The power of joy: what to expect at the 2026 CPA Assist Virtual Wellness Conference

Join CPA Assist on December 10 for the seventh-annual CPA Assist Virtual Wellness Conference presented by InsureCPA.

Finding joy isn’t about ignoring life’s challenges. It’s about choosing to focus on what helps us grow, connect, and thrive. This year’s CPA Assist Virtual Wellness Conference explores practical ways to cultivate joy, build resilience, embrace authentic optimism, and bring more laughter and well-being into everyday life, even during times of uncertainty.

Message from the CPA Assist Committee Chair:

Whether it’s learning the simple art of “spreading positive gossip” or discovering the unexpected nutritional benefits of edamame, I walk away from every CPA Assist event with invaluable nuggets of wisdom. I know this year’s CPA Assist Virtual Wellness Conference, centered around the theme of “Joy,” will be no exception.

I’ll be the first to admit that finding and holding onto joy isn’t always easy. As we navigate demanding careers, try to carve out meaningful time for family and friends, and process broader uncertainties, finding the space to feel joy can feel almost impossible.

That said, I’ve learned that finding genuine joy and effectively dealing with change don’t require grand, overnight transformations. Instead, they start with a single, intentional action. Real progress often comes down to the basics: making your bed, brushing your teeth, or taking a moment to breathe. When you focus on those small, daily habits, each incremental step becomes easier, gradually creating the space and energy needed for joy to take root.

Making progress toward joy can start right now with one simple choice: registering for the 2026 CPA Assist Virtual Wellness Conference! I look forward to attending this year’s conference with you all and growing together on this journey.

Chair, CPA Assist Committee
