CPA Alberta is proud to present the 2022 class of Capitalize Campus Stars.
Every year, the Capitalize Campus Stars program recognizes amazing Alberta post-secondary students who are dreaming of one day becoming CPAs and who are already leaving a legacy on their campuses and in their communities.
These five students embody what it means to be a Capitalize Campus Star, and they are the future of the CPA profession.
Izza Athar is building bridges between the hearing and deaf communities on her campus and hoping to bring that to the business world. Sarah Deleon is embracing the unknown and putting herself out there to inspire her fellow students. Emily Parker is continuing a family legacy and connecting with her community, both on and off campus. Arielle Valencia is rewriting her own story and learning what it means to be a leader. Vishal Hareshkumar Vekaria is giving back to his community and working toward his goal—becoming a CPA.
