CPA Alberta held its Annual General Meeting virtually on September 9, 2026. Thank you to everyone who took the time from their busy schedules to attend and engage with their profession.
The AGM includeed the results of the annual vote for members of the CPA Alberta Board. This year, it was announced that Rick Mussenden CPA, CA was re-elected to the board for a second term and Nastashia Timoruski CPA, CA was newly elected to a three-year term.
Thanks go to all Alberta CPAs who stood for election to the Board and to all of those who made their voice heard by voting.
Also at the AGM, CPA Alberta CEO Rachel Miller FCPA, FCA provided updates on the profession, centered on membership demographics, high-level results of the bi-annual member survey, the profession’s new education program, and her view on the future of the profession in an AI world.
CPA Alberta Board Chair Maureen Moneta CPA, CA chaired the meeting and provided her Chair’s Report, including an update on the profession nationally. As well, the organization’s Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee, Rick Mussenden, provided an overview of the organization’s financial and risk picture.
