The Government of Canada has launched an open selection process to appoint a President and Chief Executive Officer for the Canada Post Corporation.
Canada Post is a Crown corporation that is mandated to provide high-quality postal services that meet the needs of all Canadians, in a secure and financially self-sustaining manner. In September 2025, the Government announced a series of measures as a first step to help stabilize the corporation’s finances and enable its transformation. The selected candidate will be responsible for the general oversight of the business, while also working with Canada Post’s Board of Directors and the Government of Canada to set the corporation’s objectives and broad policies, and operationalize its transformation to safeguard Canada Post’s financial sustainability.
