Join CPA Assist at the upcoming Wellness Conference to hear Emily Cave, the conference keynote speaker, share her inspiring story.
One of the things that connects us as humans is our ability to grieve. Whether it is a person, pet, place, or idea, we will all experience loss at some point in our lives, and knowing what to expect during times of sorrow won’t make the grief easier, but it will make the process more manageable.
At the age of 26, Emily Cave became a widow less than nine months after becoming a wife. Her husband, NHL player Colby Cave, suddenly and tragically passed days after an emergency surgery to remove a colloid cyst, an extremely rare non-malignant tumour that can form in the brain.
Very quickly, Emily was thrown into the public eye for the worst possible reason: losing the love of her life.
Now, Emily is slowly learning and building a new life while honouring her late husband. She hopes to inspire and help others by being open and vulnerable and providing a non-judgmental presence for processing grief.
As the keynote speaker at the fourth-annual CPA Assist Virtual Wellness Conference, presented by CPA Insurance Plans West, Emily will share her story of publicly navigating profound grief.
Save your spot at the conference and receive a copy of Emily’s book, For Colb: The Vow Beyond “Till Death Do Us Part,” when you register for an all-access pass.
