The CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) is looking for volunteers to view and provide feedback on candidate presentations in the Capstone 1 module during the spring academic session.
Presentations for the spring session take place in Calgary and Edmonton on July 9, 10, 11, and 12, 2016, with re-presentations by unsuccessful teams on July 14.
Each candidate presentation will be reviewed by a panel of four volunteers from the professional accounting community. Panelists will be provided with an executive summary of the suggested case solution. Each day of presentations will run from approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local time. Panel volunteers can choose to attend for full days or half days, and may choose to attend any number of days throughout the period (from one to all days).
It should be noted that there is no monetary compensation offered for the service of volunteer panelists. However, these volunteer hours may count for professional development hours. Breakfast and lunch will be provided during the presentation days.
