What better way to demonstrate the positive contributions of the CPA profession than CPAs using their time, skills, and passion to help others? That’s one of the reasons opportunities for volunteer action are included as part of each year’s celebration of the profession, Elevate. This year, CPAs in the Edmonton and Calgary areas can still participate in Community Impact Days even if they missed Elevate!
For those in the Edmonton area, join colleagues for an evening of giving at the Edmonton Food Bank on June 7. Sort food and prepare hampers to help alleviate food insecurity for Edmonton Food Bank clients.
Calgary-area CPAs have the choice of three days and three activities from June 7-9. Sign up for one, two, or three days of giving! Organizations like the Calgary Drop-In Centre, Thorncliffe Greenview Community Association, and Calgary Food Bank will be the beneficiaries.
