CPA Alberta Board nominations are open—and this is your chance to represent your fellow Alberta CPAs. Three board positions are available this year, with one incumbent running for re-election. If you’re passionate about the future of the profession, leadership, and representing your CPA peers—this is the moment to raise your hand.
Nominations must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 18.
The CPA Alberta Governance Committee has identified a number of competency areas, professional experience, and characteristics that would enhance the diversity of thought and expertise of the CPA Alberta Board. This year, we are seeking board members with extensive board governance experience and strong strategic thinking capability.
To reflect the diversity of professional backgrounds of Alberta CPAs—who work in many different sectors throughout Alberta—individual(s) with experience in post-secondary education and individual(s) with experience in the public sector would be welcome additions to the CPA Alberta Board.
