Applications for the Self-Publishing Grant closing soon

Are you an Alberta CPA with a story to tell? There’s still time to apply for the 2026 Self-Publishing Grant, offered through the CPA Education Foundation’s Hesje CPA Knowledge Centre.

Offered in partnership with Canadian publishing company FriesenPress, the grant provides funding support to Alberta CPAs who are looking to share their expertise, stories, and perspectives in book form.

Applying for the grant is simple; applicants are required to watch a short webinar that walks viewers through the self-publishing experience, then complete the online application form. Grants will be awarded in the coming months for applications received before October 22, 2026.

While all types of books are eligible for funding consideration under the program, preference for funding is given to books on business-oriented topics such as leadership, financial management, accounting, business education, and other areas related to the expertise of the CPA profession.
