If you’re passionate about strengthening accounting and business education in Alberta, this is your chance to make an impact on the profession, students, and post-secondary institutions.
The CPA Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the future of the accounting profession in Alberta. Through partnerships and donor support, the Foundation provides grants to post-secondary business schools, scholarships and awards for students, funding for accounting research, and programs that celebrate exceptional accounting educators.
The Foundation is seeking up to two new board members for three-year terms beginning September 2026. Board members commit approximately 50 hours per year (officer roles may require 70–80 hours).
While all nominations are welcome, the Foundation is particularly interested in candidates with strong governance experience and proven ability to build donor relationships. Applicants from across the province are encouraged.
