With this year’s CPA Alberta Tax Clinic Program now complete, CPA Alberta thanks all community partner organizations and volunteers who generously gave their time and commitment to this worthy endeavour!
From March 1 to April 30, CPA volunteers completed over 1200 returns at over 30 community partner organizations for low income Albertans. CPA Alberta recognizes and appreciates the time, talent, and energy were dedicated towards preparing returns. Thank you to those who contributed to this important project during a second COVID-19 year.
This year, the Tax Clinic program continued its evolution by moving further towards a more automated process. These advances connected CPA volunteers with taxpayer documentation packages sooner and more efficiently than in previous years.
CPA Alberta looks forward to what next year’s program brings!
Tax Clinic Program Challenge Winner
The winner of the Tax Clinic Program Challenge is Michael Bejerman CPA, CMA. Michael prepared 181 returns for this year’s program and could be counted on to prepare a large volume of returns efficiently and effectively. Michael, thank you for your contribution – it is very much appreciated!
