The 16th annual CPA Education Foundation Business Challenge Case Competition was held March 6 to 8 in Calgary. Thirteen teams from eight Alberta post-secondary institutions went head-to-head to come up with creative and innovative solutions to real-world business problems.
After an intense day of strategizing, the student teams presented their solutions to a panel of CPA judges comprised of CPA Education Foundation Board members, CPAs (including past case competition participants), and representatives from this year’s case partner, Wilde and Company CPAs, a Vegreville-based CPA firm specializing in serving clients in the agricultural and farming industries.
Two rounds of presentations later and following a lot of careful thought and deliberation, the winners of the 2024 CPA Education Foundation Business Challenge Case Competition are:

- Third: University of Calgary
