Shine a spotlight on a deserving colleague with CPA Alberta’s Achievement Awards

Do you know a CPA who is exceptional? Someone who makes a difference, every time? Who also brings honour to the CPA profession? Then nominate them for a CPA Alberta Achievement Award!

The CPA Alberta Achievement Awards are made to recognize these extraordinary individuals. Nominations are accepted for the below three award categories.

  • Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA): granted to those Alberta CPAs who have rendered exceptional service to the profession or whose achievements in their careers, the community, or in the profession have earned them distinction and brought honour to the profession.
  • Distinguished Service Award: recognizes members or supporters of the profession who have demonstrated a significant achievement within the last five years.
  • Early Achievement Award: for those who have had their accounting designation for 10 years or less and have contributions or achievements worthy of recognition.

This year, the nomination process is simpler and more streamlined than ever! Our online submission process now includes the following components.

  • A pre-qualification step to help ensure the most appropriate award category for your nominee.
  • The ability to submit audio or video clips to provide details and context to help support the nomination.
  • An opportunity for collaborators—both CPAs and non-CPAs—to be given access to the application to share information.
  • The addition of a member of CPA Alberta’s Achievement Awards Nomination Committee as a collaborator to each application to assist the nominator in developing a robust application.

The deadline to submit a nomination is October 31.
