Nominations for the CPA Education Foundation Board are now being accepted for one board position for a three-year term beginning in September 2022. If you are passionate about learning excellence and enhancing accounting and business education, you may be well-suited to serve the profession in this way!
The Foundation acknowledges the value of diverse perspectives on the board and strives for a board that reflects the full range of Alberta CPAs. This wide range of voices and experience is particularly important for the Foundation as it works to support business education for students from varied backgrounds. As such, we are encouraging applications from members of groups who have been historically underrepresented.
Although all nominations are encouraged, the Foundation has identified several key competencies that would strengthen and better balance the competencies of the CPA Education Foundation Board:
- governance expertise;
- investment experience; and
- fundraising/donor relations expertise.
Nominations must be received no later than July 4, 2022.

Note that nominations for the CPA Education Foundation board, unlike nominations for the CPA Alberta Board, are not subject to voting by the membership at large. Nominees for the Foundation Board are appointed by the existing members of the CPA Education Foundation Board.
