Do you know someone that is doing outstanding work in the profession, community, or workplace? If so, shine a spotlight on a deserving colleague or friend by nominating them for a CPA Alberta Achievement Award.
The nomination deadline for this year’s awards is October 31, so don’t wait to recognize those you think are making a difference.
Nominations for CPA Alberta Achievement Awards are accepted in the following categories:
- Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA): granted to those Alberta CPAs who have rendered exceptional service to the profession or whose achievements in their careers, the community, or in the profession have earned them distinction and brought honour to the profession
- Distinguished Service Award: recognizes members or supporters of the profession who have demonstrated a significant achievement within the last five years
- Early Achievement Award: for those who have had their accounting designation for 10 years or less and have contributions or achievements worthy of recognition
New this year is a revised online nomination application to help streamline the application process. Through this online form, you can track your application progress, add collaborators to help complete the nomination, and upload letters of support from friends and colleagues. CPA Alberta will even provide a suggestion on which award your nominee is best suited for, based on answers to a few simple questions!
