National Fitness Day: A journey toward better health

National Fitness Day, on June 7, is a great opportunity to recognize how physical activity contributes to overall wellbeing. CPA Assist is shedding light on big and small ways CPAs can improve their fitness knowledge and routines.

Fitness isn’t just a temporary goal or a seasonal challenge, it’s an ongoing journey toward health. Embracing fitness supports not just physical strength but also our mental and emotional well-being. “Regular exercise offers the greatest return on investment of anything you will come across in your lifetime,” says Nathaniel Ernst BSc., PKin., kinesiologist, personal trainer and fitness consultant with the CPA Assist program. Yet, many people face obstacles that make consistent fitness feel out of reach. Busy schedules, physical limitations, and misconceptions about exercise can create barriers that prevent individuals from making movement a natural part of their lives. Fitness is not a one-size-fits-all pursuit; whether it’s overcoming personal challenges, finding small ways to stay active in the workplace, or ensuring that movement remains a priority as we age, fitness has a lasting impact on our quality of life.

To inspire your journey, we have recorded three new insightful sessions with our CPA Assist fitness providers. For more videos and resources, visit our website.
