Is a Snack & Chat right for your organization?

The CPA Alberta Employer Relations team provides resources and supports to employers so they can better support their candidates in achieving success in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP). One way they do this is by providing information sessions to employers and their staff about the path to becoming a CPA.

Snack & Chat information sessions are full of useful information for people who interested in exploring the CPA certification process. A representative from Employer Relations will deliver a presentation that covers the entrance requirements to become a CPA, as well as provide an overview of CPA PEP and the Common Final Examination (CFE). The presentation will also briefly review the practical experience requirements and outline CPA Alberta’s services for CPAs and candidates.

A Snack & Chat information session might be right for you if:

  • You have staff who are interested in becoming CPAs;
  • You want to increase the strength of your team by adding CPAs to your organization;
  • You would like to learn more about the CPA certification program to help support your employees;
  • Your team has questions about the path to becoming a CPA; and/or
  • Your organization provides services to people hoping to enter the accounting field (for example, immigrant service agencies, job placement agencies).

Snack & Chat info sessions are helpful for audiences of all sizes—even as few as two participants—and conveniently delivered virtually to wherever you and your staff are located. So grab a snack and book a chat today!
