Do you know a post-secondary student who is a leader, a high achiever, a community builder, a general mover and shaker? Are they making an impact in their world and already leaving a legacy? Are they EXCELLENT?
Now is your chance to nominate them for the inaugural class of Capitalize Campus Stars!
The Capitalize Campus Stars program will recognize up to 10 amazing Alberta post-secondary students who are dreaming of one day becoming CPAs. These students can be MVPs of their campus for a variety of reasons—are they exceptionally innovative? A born leader with the wisdom of someone twice their age? A stalwart known for their helping hands in their community?
Eligibility requirements
We want this program to be as accessible as possible to as many Alberta post-secondary students as possible, but we do have a few requirements. Nominees must:
- Be a post-secondary student at an accredited Alberta post-secondary institution as of the 2021 fall term
- Live in Alberta
- Dream of one day becoming an Alberta CPA
- Demonstrate excellence in leadership, innovation, volunteerism in their community, and/or professional achievements
Capitalize Campus Stars is intended to reflect the diversity of Alberta’s post-secondary campuses. Nominations are welcome and encouraged for nominees representing all communities in Alberta, especially those most marginalized, such as Black and Indigenous Students of Colour, students who identify as LGBTQ2S+, and students with disabilities.
