Attention accounting educators: registration is open for the CPA Education Foundation’s 15th annual Conference for Accounting Educators

The annual Conference for Accounting Educators is returning to Red Deer for its 15th year on May 5 & 6, 2025.

The conference offers a unique opportunity for accounting educators from across the province to connect with colleagues and explore issues that are shaping the future of the CPA profession.

Highlights of this year’s event include the popular Teaching Awards; a keynote address by University of Toronto writer and professor, Randy Boyagodaon, on why civil discourse matters; an employer panel discussion about recruitment of new grads; and updates on accounting standards and the new CPA program.

This event is free to any full-time, part-time, or sessional accounting faculty member or instructor from an Alberta or Saskatchewan post-secondary institution.

Registration is now open and the full conference details will be provided as they become available.

Please feel free to share this information with any of your colleagues who might be interested in attending.
