If you are a CPA in good standing and interested in getting involved with CPA Alberta, consider volunteering for the Practice Review Committee!
The Committee determines whether each professional accounting practice or public accounting practice that is the subject of practice review complies in whole or in part with the Rules of Professional Conduct and practice standards. It also advises the CPA Alberta Board on relevant matters, establishes qualifications to be met by practice reviewers, and more.
Committee members are appointed to serve for a term of three years and may be reappointed up to a maximum of two terms. The Committee generally meets seven times per year, with each meeting lasting approximately three to four hours.
