Friday, August 12, 2022 will be remembered as a monumental day for 207 proud individuals, as that is the date they found out they passed the CPA profession’s Common Final Examination (CFE). The accomplishment is the final step in their educational journey to earning their CPA designation, and is a testament to their hard work and commitment. Congratulations to all of the successful writers!
Two Alberta-based writers had an even more memorable day, as they celebrated being named to the National Honour Roll for their exceptional performances on the exam. The two national honourees from Alberta are:
Carla Grasdahl
R.J. Barrett & Co.
Calgary
Nigel Prosser
MNP
Edmonton
Carla was surprised to learn about her recognition. “My goal was to simply pass the CFE and become a CPA. To have gone beyond my expectations and be recognized as a National Honour Roll member has left me completely speechless.”
Nigel agreed, saying, “Words cannot describe how incredibly proud I am to receive this level of recognition for a goal I have been working towards for so long. It feels so validating knowing that my game plan and hard work preparing for this exam paid off in such a manner!”
You can see more about Carla, Nigel, and the other successful writers on the CPA Alberta website.
Successful May writers will be formally celebrated at Convocation events planned for early 2023.
Congratulations again to all 207 soon-to-be members of the profession on this accomplishment.
