Congratulations to all Alberta-based writers who were successful in writing the September 2020 Common Final Examination (CFE)!
“Passing the CFE in this most unusual year will be one great memorable moment for the 744 individuals in Alberta who marked this achievement,” said Rachel Miller FCPA, FCA, CPA Alberta’s Chief Executive Officer. “Successful writers, you should be immensely proud of the hard work, resilience, and adaptability you have demonstrated through the process. Congratulations, and enjoy the special feelings of pride and joy this accomplishment brings.”
Normally, CPA Alberta would be preparing to celebrate the dedication, commitment, and hard work of successful writers at Convocation early in the new year. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unfortunately unable to hold traditional Convocation events in the usual (February) timeframe. However, we are planning multiple ways to recognize this year’s graduates, including celebrating this exciting achievement in-person when it is safe to do so. We will be reaching out to successful writers and other stakeholders regarding details of celebratory activities when they are available.
Special mention goes to four individuals whose exceptional performance on the CFE placed them on the National Honour Roll. These four are:
- Andrew de Visser
Senior Accountant
KPMG Canada
Calgary - Shona Murray
