There are a number of accounting standards that Alberta CPAs may be interested in providing their perspective on:
- Accounting Standards Board (AcSB) Roundtable on How to Improve Disclosures in IFRS Financial Statements: Register to attend the AcSB’s roundtable discussion to share your views on the IASB’s Discussion Paper on the Principles of Disclosure.
- Canadian Auditing Standards – Stakeholders’ Views on Proposed Revisions to CAS 540: Participate in a video conference to provider your feedback on the proposals to update CAS 540, Auditing Accounting Estimates, Including Fair Value Accounting Estimates, and Related Disclosures.
- AASB Exposure Draft – Auditing Accounting Estimates and Related Disclosures: Respond to the Exposure Draft that proposes to adopt, with Canadian amendments, proposed amendments to ISA 540. Submissions are due by July 7.
