Do you know a high school student who would benefit from a scholarship as they begin their post-secondary journey? Or who might have the potential to shine as a future CPA?
As the charitable arm of the CPA profession in Alberta, the CPA Education Foundation offers a variety of scholarships and awards for students at all stages of their academic careers, from high school and post-secondary through to the CPA Professional Education Program. The goal is to break down barriers to education and introduce students to the accounting profession, especially those who may not have personal ties to the profession.
Additionally, the Foundation offers unique paid internship opportunities for both high school and post-secondary students through its Sparking Great Careers initiative. These internships offer students a chance to work alongside CPAs while gaining real-world experience in accounting. High school students have until May 1st to apply for both internships and scholarships.
