CPA Alberta’s PD Program and PD Portal are getting a fresh new look and pricing strategy later this summer! The new platform supports finding the learning you want when you need it, through an advanced search functionality. You will also experience personalized learning recommendations based on your unique preferences. Finally, individual CPA and group saving options will make your PD dollar go farther!
Transitional PD Passports are available for purchase starting April 14!
Until the new PD registration system is available, CPA Alberta will continue to sell a shortened version of its flexible PD Passports. From now until end of August, receive up to 35% savings on PD by purchasing one of the following:
- Personal Pass – up to 7 hours of PD exclusively for the Pass holder
- Mini Personal Pass – up to 3.5 hours of PD exclusively for the Pass holder
- Share Pass – up to 21 hours of PD shareable with anyone in your network, including colleagues, stakeholders, committee members, friends, and family
You can purchase PD Passports from April 14 until June 15. Transitional PD Passports expire August 31, 2022.

Good news! If you have or are planning to purchase a transitional PD Passport, any unused tickets will be transferred to the new system. These tickets can be used until their expiry date. (Note: to facilitate this transfer, the value of your remaining tickets will be converted to credits on the new e-commerce system. The credits can then be applied toward professional development courses and products. The same expiry date which applied to your original tickets will apply to these credits. The credits must be used by August 31, 2022.)
