Elevate 2024, CPA Alberta’s premier week-long event, was a huge success! The 2024 theme, “Simply. Essential.” acknowledged the essential roles CPAs play in their workplaces and communities and invited participants to slow down, take some time to simplify, and engage in activities that helped them connect, learn, and recharge.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the CPA profession—one that is essential to Alberta’s businesses, communities, and people—at Elevate 2024! We loved seeing you in person, and we are looking forward to next year—an important milestone as we celebrate our ten-year anniversary!
This year’s Elevate highlights include:
- Celebrating long-service milestones at the Chair’s Long Service Awards;
- Acknowledging the simply essential role academics play in shaping the future of the profession at the Conference for Accounting Educators, presented by the CPA Education Foundation;
- Providing essential conversations and networking at Ales & Tales;
- Discovering actionable strategies for employee wellness at CPA Assist’s Rise and Thrive;
- Engaging in simple acts of volunteerism to contribute to the essential needs of the community and
- Honouring the best of the profession—the 2024 Achievement Award recipients—at the Elevate Awards Gala.
